Fairgrounds Speedway Race Results

Late Models:
  • Mark Day and Chevy White are battling tooth and nail for the lead.
  • Caution, Lap 7- White and Day make contact coming off turn 4. Something on Day's car breaks as he erupts in smoke coming down the frontstretch. Day spins in turn 1 and noses his car into the outside wall.
  • Lap 11- Sterling Marlin moves into the lead.
  • Caution, Lap 40- Travis Trotter comes to a stop on the backstretch.
  • Marlin is never challenged and takes an easy victory.

Supertrucks:
  • Stacey Crain grabs the lead from the pole.
  • Lap 14- Daniel Bolden moves into the lead.
  • Caution, Lap 31- Sutherlin Marlin spins and makes slight contact with the wall on the frontstretch.
  • Bolden holds off a charge from Crain to capture the victory.
Final Results:

Sportsman:
  • Jeff Belt jumps to the lead from the pole.
  • Lap 9- Cody Buford passes Belt for the lead.
  • Buford hangs on to take his first career victory.

Open Wheel:
  • At the start, Roy Dorris makes contact with David Brown and takes the lead.
  • Caution, Lap 2- Brown spins in turn 4.

  • Caution, Lap 22- Steve Hadley spins in turn 2.
  • Lap 24- Tommy Climer gets around Dorris for the lead.
  • Climer takes the victory.

Super Stock:
  • Clint Ivey pulls to the lead from the pole.
  • Caution, Lap 10- Curtis Thompson spins in turn 1.
  • Caution, Lap 15- Jay Pryor and Robert Forsythe make contact on the frontstretch. Pryor makes hard contact with the wall and is out of the race.
  • Ivey leads flag to flag to capture the victory.
Final Results:
1. Clint Ivey
2. Charlie Briley

4. Curtis Thompson
5. Chris Neidert

Thunderstox:
  • On the start, Steve Cavanah gets turned hard into the frontstretch wall.
  • CJ Adams takes the lead from the pole.
  • Caution, Lap 3- Travis Ryman and Gene Holt make contact sending Holt spinning down the frontstretch. Mike Womack then makes contact with Holt. All cars are able to continue.
  • Caution, Lap 4- Ricky Groves spins in turn 2. Holt makes contact with Groves and has his whole right rear wheel and axle off the car. The red flag has been displayed in order for safety crews to clean up the rear end grease from Holt's car.
  • Caution, Lap 16- Travis Ryman spins in turn 4.
  • Adams is able to hold off a strong charge from Bobby Joe Rippey to capture the win. It is the first win of Adams' career.

Frontrunners:
  • Mark Cummings takes the lead at the start.
  • Lap 7- Steve Vincent moves into the lead.
  • Lap 13- Vincent pulls of the track. Chad bush inherits the lead.
  • Caution, Lap 14- Roy Porter comes to a stop in turn 4.
  • On the restart, Cummings gets around Bush.
  • Lap 16- Bush moves back around Cummings.
  • Caution, Lap 17- Kevin Figueroa comes to a stop in turn 4. Under caution, Scott Williams, Aaron Ashcroft, and Williams Owens make contact. Owens comes out on the short end of the incident as his car is stuffed hard into the turn 2 wall.
  • The restart has been called off after officials determined that Cummings jumped the green flag.
  • Bush holds off a charge from Cummings to take the win.

USST Race Results

  • Blake Carter takes the early lead.
  • Caution, Lap 10- Chris Sevey, Kyle Fletcher, and Jess Williams get stacked up racing down the backstretch. All three trucks suffered minor damage, but all are able to continue.
  • Lap 19- Tommy Climer gets around Carter for the top spot.
  • Lap 20- After making contact with Climer turn 1, Carter regains the lead.
  • Lap 27- Climer gets around Carter to regain the lead.
  • Caution, Lap 32- Jess Williams gets into the side of Chris Sevey sending him spinning into the wall in turn 3.
  • Caution, Lap 36- Randy Price spins in turn 2.
  • Caution, Lap 45- Jess Williams and Larry Fitzsimons make contact on the backstretch sending Williams into the turn 3 wall. He will not be able to continue.
  • Caution, Lap 47- Larry Fitzsimons blows his engine in turn 3.
  • Tommy Climer is never challenged as he cruises to an easy victory.

ASA Nashville 200 Race Results

  • Brent Downey jumps to the lead at the start of the race.
  • Caution, Lap 8- Chris Eggleston's car erupts in smoke in turn 2.
  • Lap 14- Drew Brannon slows as the green flag comes back out. Brannon is in the pits with a broken driveshaft.
  • Lap 28- Brandon Johnson passes Downey for the top spot.
  • Caution, Lap 47- Bobby Buttrey spins on the backstretch. He has pitted with some damage to the nose of the car. Buttrey has pulled his car behind the wall.
  • Lap 56- Josh Hamner gets around Johnson for the lead on the restart.
  • Caution, Lap 61- Eddie Hoffman makes contact with Dillon Oliver sending Oliver spinning down the frontstretch. Peter Cozzolino has nowhere to go and piles into Oliver. Both Collolino and Oliver's crews are attempting to make repairs.
  • Lap 68- The green flag is back out!
  • Caution, Lap 84- Scott Rueschenberg gets loose coming off turn 4 and makes contact with the inside wall on the frontstretch.
  • Caution, Lap 91- 2nd place Brandon Johnson and 3rd place Landon Cassill crash coming down the backstretch on the restart. Brent Downey has nowhere to go and is also collected. All three drivers are out of the race.
  • Caution, Lap 100- Halfway break. The teams will be given ten minutes to make adjustments and change tires.
  • Lap 105- Willie Allen gets around Josh Hamner for the lead.
  • Caution, Lap 123- Tommy Joe Martins spins by himself in turn 3. His car is not damaged and he will be able to continue after pitting for fresh tires.
  • Caution, Lap 131- On the restart, Jerick Johnson spins Kyle Sirizorotti.
  • Caution, Lap 175- There is a piece of debris on the backstretch.
  • Lap 190- Willie Allen is holdiong off a strong challenge from Josh Hamner.
  • Lap 193- Dillon Oliver falls out of third place with a flat tire.
  • Willie Allen dominates the second half of the Nashville 200 to capture the victory at his hometown track.
