Well, things are changing. The days for our glorious little track appear to be numbered, so with that, I have decided to change this blog from reporting the present to reporting the past.
There are a couple of other great blogs that concentrate mainly on the present. They are great about posting news about the current situation of the track, info about Fair Board meetings, etc. While some of that news will invariably find its way on to this blog as well, the point of this blog is to reflect on the past. It will serve as a memorial to the great times spent at the track. I want it to stay positive, and will restrict comments that take a negative view of things, both past and present.
I plan to be posting stories, videos, pictures and other things from all eras on a regular basis. However, I was a late comer to the track as my first races I saw there were in the early 90s. So, if the blog tends to lean toward that time period through the end of last season, you'll have to forgive me. I will make an effort to include all time periods, though.
I'll get the updates started within the next few days, so be sure to check back often!

Yes, the days are numbered because we won't get up on the horse and find out how many of these officials are prospering from this closing...Like I have said many times before, follow the money and you will find the answer, and when you reveal these people, maybe salvation will be at hand...Respectfully, Dr. Jack
